The Dutch Data Protection Authority (CBP) monitors compliance with legislation regarding the use of personal data. The Dutch DPA supervises compliance with and application of the Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp), Police Data Act (Wpg) and Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA Act). Unless there is an exception, the use of personal data must be reported to the Dutch DPA.
