After signing the purchase deed, there is still a cooling-off period according to the law. During this cooling-off period you can still cancel the purchase without giving any reason. The cooling-off period depends on the date of signing.
The shortest period is 3 days and the longest is 5 days. This is because 1 day of the weekend is not counted. The cooling-off period starts the next day after signing. If the signed purchase agreement is handed over to the buyer on Wednesday, the cooling-off period ends on Monday and is therefore 5 days.
