The manager is a legal entity that manages one or more investment institutions and is therefore responsible for the administrative, technical, commercial and financial management of the fund. The manager has access to the permanent management license referred to in the Wft.
It is not permitted to grant participation rights in Dutch collective investment schemes without the permission of the manager of the collective investment scheme. The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets is the licensing authority for managers of investment agencies.
