GlossaryLegal_entities_ _legal_personality

What means Legal entities - legal personality?

The law distinguishes between two types of persons: natural persons and legal entities. Natural persons are individual human beings capable of independently undertaking legal actions such as purchasing property or opening bank accounts.

Legal entities, on the other hand, include structures like public limited companies, limited partnerships, and general partnerships, acting on behalf of an organization. The Ministry is conducting a review of the operation and structure of these legal entities in the Netherlands.
