We have two definitions of persons in the law: natural persons and legal persons. Natural persons are human beings and can independently enter into obligations, such as buying houses and opening bank accounts.
If an organization enters into the obligation, a legal entity must first be chosen for the organization. This is a legal organization, so the public limited companies, limited partnerships and partnerships. The Ministry has been planning for some time to conduct a study into a review of the legal entities used in the Netherlands.
