GlossaryPermits

What means Permits?

Financial regulations specify licensing requirements for investment firms, collective investment schemes, and financial service providers. Investments are regulated by bodies such as the Financial Markets Authority (AFM) and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). Investment firms include licensed brokers, asset managers, and credit institutions with a DNB license that offer investment services. Investment institutions are recorded including managers and UCITS with separate managers. The financial services register includes affiliated companies with European passport holders and representatives, with details on the granted start dates of permissions.
