Freehold is an ownership title for real estate and land in Indonesia. It is a title that you can only have if you are Indonesian yourself or if you have an Indonesian director in your company who buys the property. It is not possible to have freehold land in your name as a foreigner.
As a foreigner, “Leasehold” or “Right to build” is often used to own the property.
